During the Eid Holidays, drove to the mountains of Oman. Today we explored the so called Mountain of the Sun, Jebel Shams in Arabic. Perhaps termed because the sun rises and sets on the mountain’s east and west. Not surprising considering that this is the highest in Oman.

A breath of fresh air from the hustle of city life; in the mountain all you’ll find are stunning images of rock formations. And amidst it all, you get the feeling of nature’s grand beauty. I’m proud to have witnessed this all.
